Portrait of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew
A quick sketch on my impression of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew during his Rally speech at Raffles Place, 1980 as my tribute to the Singapore's founding father who passed away earlier today (23 March, 2015). He has transformed the tiny island into a first world nation and his successful story has influenced not only the people of Singapore but also people from all around the world.
Thank you for everything and R.I.P Mr. Lee Kuan Yew!
“Whoever governs Singapore must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards. This is your life and mine. I’ve spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I’m in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” (Lee Kuan Yew, 1980)
I'd love to give away the original sketch to a person who's willing to take good care of it. Pencil on Paper, A3 size (11.69' x 16.53'). Unfortunately I can only deliver within Singapore. Please drop me an email to contact@kapieeipak.com and it would be great if you could share with me why you'd love to keep the drawing!
